Implicit Turkey statement from Syria
Faisal Mikdad, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Syria, where the human tragedy has been experienced, made a statement to the Syrian newspaper al-Watan.
Evaluating Syrian leader Bashar Assad’s visit to Moscow a while ago, Mikdad said, “It was one of the best contacts Assad has made.” “There is no disagreement with our ally Russia on our common goals of fighting terrorism,” Mikdad said.
While saying that Turkey should withdraw its forces from the country, Mikdad said, “Ankara should withdraw from Syrian territory and support a solution that will guarantee the normalization of relations between Syria and Turkey.” On the other hand, Mikdad stated that the USA should also withdraw from Syria and said, “We have many ways to persuade the Americans to leave our country, but my advice is to leave the country without any casualties.”
